GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The COANDA Screen stops more than 90% of the debris and bed load with a diameter of 0.5mm and larger from entering the rim.
The rake holds back the debris and bed load where it remains in the source water. This system avoids debris disposal costs and therefore reduces or even eliminates the need for costly additional filtering. You can expect a hassle-free operation of the rim using this system.
The rake is self-cleaning. The sediments on the rake are transported back to the source water as soon as the draining water exceeds the suction of the rake.
Greenery leaves and even larch needles will be separated. Silt deposits in hydropower and other water systems are greatly reduced.
COANDA Screens are built with bars transverse to the riverbed. Thanks to the Coanda-effect, COANDA Screens can absorbe up to 500 l/s/m.

According to the needed capacity the Intake can be composed of elements that are assemblied together. These elements are available in different heights, widths and bar spacings.
